CPWA Application & Fees

APPLICATION

Prospective CPWA candidates who are new to the program must submit an online application and fee. The online application takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. Submission of an application will result in a background check conducted by Investments & Wealth Institute staff. Within ten business days, prospective candidates will be notified of official acceptance into the program.

FEE OVERVIEW

The total investment in obtaining the CPWA certification will range between US$5,995 and US$7,390, dependent upon membership status. Fees are subject to change.

• Tuition and materials for online education program including online readings, videos and quizzes

• Tuition and materials for in-person executive education program

• Room and board for in-person executive education program

• The fee for one exam attempt is included with the initial CPWA program fee

• Initial certification fee for first two-year certification period

Yale Online

• Application Fee & Background Check

• Tuition and materials for online education program including online readings, videos and quizzes

• Tuition and materials for in-person executive education program

• Lodging and meals during in-person executive education program

Exam Retake fees:

• Exam retake fees are US$225 for members and US$325 for non-members.

• Exam attempts are unlimited; a 30-day waiting period between exam attempts and retake fees apply. All retake exams are administered via computer at local Pearson VUE testing centers.

Renewal fee (required)

In response to member input, the Institute offers a membership-certification alignment option for Institute-certified professionals to connect their annual Institute membership renewal to the biennial certification renewal date.
